Hello - I've been out of work for some time and it looks like I will be out of work for quite a while longer. I am thinking of starting to study for the CIMA qualification (UK Chartered Management Accountant) to at least be doing something useful during my unemployment period. However, as a result of taking on quite a lot of debt to do an expensive masters degree a few years ago, coupled with my unemployment, it looks as though bankruptcy is my only realistic option for dealing with my debts.
My question: Can I be a registered CIMA student and take the exams, etc, while I am going through bankruptcy?
Mr Premier - Any particular SOURCE for your information? Are you CIMA qualified yourself? Do you know someone who is? What credibility do you have?
You are clearly just going for points. There is no way I am giving you 10 points for such a low-quality answer.
you can

You will still have fees to pay for CIMA, but dont consider bankruptcy just yet. Check if any of your debts are for credit cards or personal loans taken out before 1 April 2007. If so you could get them legally cancelled and save yourself a lot of money. The website http://www.bdebtfree.info will help you.
